Formed by Fire is the articulation of a Pentecostal vision of education. Based on his doctoral research, Dr. Jake True believes that Pentecostal education is more than a matter of content, but goes to the foundational theories and practices that are at work in the classroom. He demonstrates the alignment between Pentecostal epistemology and adult learning theory, and brings in the insights of British educator Charlotte Mason to articulate a Pentecostal vision of education. The heart of this work is to inspire a Pentecostal approach to education that makes room for the Holy Spirit, the Great Teacher, who shapes the minds and hearts of God's people.
