The family is God's intentional creation, designed with structure, purpose, and roles with God-given tasks for each member-husband, wife, father, mother, children and siblings. Strong families arise and strive when each person fulfils their God-given responsibilities; when they don't, dysfunctional family results. Believers belong to God's spiritual household-the Church. Earthly families should reflect the unity and love of God's spiritual family. Families face internal conflicts and external spiritual attacks through which the devil many time seek to weaken the family. Continuous trust in God, putting on the armour of God and unwavering submission onto God while steadfastly resisting the devil will enable us to maintain a strong victorious family that follows Gods design. The significance of Prayer cannot be over emphasized, embedded in this book and in the appendices are prayer points you can use (for each family member) in defending our family. Daily, investing in and building of a strong biblical family is essential, the future of the church and our society depend on it.
