Ineffective prayer happens when we stray from God, when we have unconfessed sin or unforgiveness towards others in our heart. But remember, He never leaves us or forsakes us. "And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" Mark 9:28-29 (NKJV) God's Power is released when we pray effectively. And to be effective in prayer, one must be open to God's will and direction in their life, as revealed in the Word of God.
