Only Dr. Haskell Miller could pray so audaciously for the world... These unique prayers bring immediate reality to our devotions and deal forcefully with issues at hand.
Dr. Morris Pepper, Former Moderator
Cumberland Presbyterian Church Haskell Miller's prayers for the modern age address difficult issues in the already complex arena of "how to pray." Namely, how does one pray in an age whose assumptions about reality and humanity dramatically question the existence of a divine nature? For all of us who struggle with this issue, these prayers are a great and needed resource.
Dr. G. Douglass Lewis
President Wesley Theological Seminary
Washington DC Dr. Haskell Miller's prayers give voice to humanity's need to experience a God who brings meaning to life in a fast-paced, highly technological world where science is viewed as antagonistic to faith. Dr. Miller's... genuine humanness expressed in these prayers brings comfort... and opens the door to a fuller understanding and experience of God.
Dr. Johnathan Baker, Executive Director
