Many of us may associate 'Getting called to the carpet,' as being a bad thing. However, I am here to offer you a different perspective. In my own transparency, learning how to embrace, 'Getting called to the carpet,' was, and at times, still isn't an easy thing. But, it is a necessary thing. None of us are perfect. So, how can we expect others to be? In this book, a self-reflection book, God is teaching me how to turn the mirror on myself, first. Which isn't always an easy thing to do. However, for my own healing, it became an essential thing. Because in learning how to look at myself first, God is showing me how to give the same grace that I receive from Him, to others.

This book shows my journey, not just as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, or a friend. But, this book comes to you from just a simple woman whom God is showing what it looks like to surrender it all on the carpet. And psst...surrendering as a woman doesn't make you weak. Au contraire. It's the exact opposite. Being able to surrender as a woman is simply having the knowledge to know when to use or restrain that power.

This book is a good read for those married, single, divorced, and everything in between. Because if you didn't know it, God loves you. And it is from His love that we, in turn, learn how to love others, especially our spouses.
