Step into the way of Christ and discover strength that lasts. If your faith has been worn down by uncertainty, loss, or sheer exhaustion, you are not alone--and you are not finished.

Be Strong in the Lord: The Resilient Way of Christ is a six-week Lenten study for anyone who wants a faith that holds when life does not cooperate.

Drawing on key moments from Jesus's journey to the cross, Tom Berlin, a bishop in The United Methodist Church, and Rachel Billups, senior pastor of New Albany United Methodist Church in New Albany, Ohio, show how Christ models a resilience that is not self-reliance but grace. Week by week, the study traces six dimensions of that resilient way: faith that stays steady in uncertainty, hope that refuses despair, love that endures rejection, courage that stands firm in fear, community that sustains us in sorrow, and joy that rises again in resurrection.

Through Scripture, story, and pastoral insight, the study offers a path of renewal for believers seeking to grow deeper and steadier in the way of Christ. Designed for adult small groups and individual Lenten study. Video sessions are 10-12 minutes. A leader guide is included as a download. Each book includes everything you need for a meaningful study experience, plus a companion code to redeem on Amplify Media and stream all video sessions and leader resources.
