The Rule of the Community of the Sisters of the Love of God declares that ‘when the whole being is set on God, the hidden joy which is beyond all natural attainment will be found.’ Written by Sister Jane, who died in 1995, during her years as Reverend Mother, to introduce issues of the ‘Fairacres Chronicle’ (1973-88), these reflections on things which shaped her life tell something of what it means to be set wholly on God.
