IPerpetua's Passion explores the 3rd-century martyrdom. Focusing on Perpetua, a young mother. Perpetua and a group of Christians was sentenced to death, in an arena full of beasts. Whilst she was awaiting execution, and imprisoned she wrote a dairy which was later completed by an observer of her death.

This personal narrative explains the conflicting ideas of religion, family and gender.
