What Is The True Story of Angels? There are so many myths and falsehoods about angels. If we are to know what Almighty says about angels, we need to find out what Almighty's word says about angels. There are several questions that we might have in mind that we need answers for. 1. What are angels? 2. When are they in the word? 3. What has been their role? What is their future role? 4. How have human beings interacted with spiritual beings? 5. How should we interact with them? 6. What does the future look like for angels? Let us begin by looking at the traditional definitions and meanings of the Hebrew and Greek words for "messengers: angels." Both the Hebrew and Greek translate the word as messenger. We should not just be looking for "angels;" with the attitude that these are celestial beings with large wings. When we see the word messenger or angel, we should think of a being dispatched as a deputy, with a message from the originator to someone else. In The Meaning Bible, we use "messengers." Then, we look to see if the originator is in the spiritual realm or the physical realm. First, we will look at the actual scriptures from which the analysis was made. We will see originators in the spiritual realm and in the physical realm.
