Jesus' call is both an invitation and a command. It is both an offer and a draft notice, a birth certificate and a death notice. He is summoning you to a different kind of life, lived in a different way. Jesus isn't asking you to recite a prayer, walk an aisle, or raise your hand. He is calling you to come to him . . . and to keep coming. He is inviting you to live a led life.
