For years, I wondered why marriage seems to be so difficult. Through prayer and God's Word, the Lord informed me of the identity of the true enemy of marriage and family, better still, that he is already defeated. The enemy of our souls knows the blessings for which God created marriage and the family unit to be. It is no coincidence that he attacks in these areas. This book shares truths of the victory and the effective weaponry God has given us by which the tactics of the enemy are rendered unsuccessful. We fight for careers, rights, advancement, and more; all of which, though necessary for a time, in the distant future we will lay down, for time catches up with us all. Therefore, we need to first fight for what matters most. Along with making certain our souls are right with God, we need to fight for our families, for it is our loved ones who will be there for us in the end and to whom we will leave a legacy.
