Aside from being a wife and a mother to three children, Patterson continued her education by earning an associate degree in business and a bachelor's degree in business management. She has been employed with the Department of Defense for over 30 years. Patterson is a Christian. She absolutely loves her family and believes God could not have blessed her with a better one. Patterson enjoys writing poems, dancing, exercising, bowling, skating, cooking, and traveling. She currently resides in Southern California.
