We are told in Scripture, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Romans10:17.

In other words, our faith grows in the same proportion as the amount of the Word of God we ingest. And so, a daily intake of Scripture is recommended for proper health as a child of God. We should do our best to structure our daily schedule leaving time for Bible reading and meditation upon what has been read.

Maybe this year Jesus might come back—it could be today or tomorrow. It is going to be one day and, as we often say, we are closer today than we were yesterday.
