Every single man and woman whom God has allowed to be born has a calling, gifting and grace from the Lord for a particular work. The book of Nehemiah offers an excellent read and practical wisdom on how we can all be able to discharge and fulfill our assignment from the Lord.
Nehemiah whose name means consolation of the Lord or comforted by Jehovah is the main character of the book. He surmounts great challenges in the rebuilding of the walls and
gates of Jerusalem. His is a story of great success and it is from his success that we seek to borrow principles (values and ideologies) that will enable us be successful also in the
assignment that the Lord has given us.
