Opening my Bible at Genesis and reading the Word of God through the book of Malachi, my goal was to get to know the story of the people of Israel. Facts are taken directly from the Old Testament scriptures and presented in a way that makes the people in these familiar stories come alive. The story serves to give the basic message of God's plan for His people in the world He created. Easy-to-read, easily understood, and interesting, it will capture and hold young and adult readers' attention until the last paragraph. My hope is that this book will find its way into millions of homes and will guide the readers to the Bible itself.
