Gospels give a sneak peek into the life of Jesus Christ. We know how God lived as human in the fallen world. We see Him go about His daily life on this earth. We hear Him preach and teach. We not only see how He lived and learn what He taught, but also how the world responded to Him. We are so privileged to have the written word of God in our hands, especially the gospels. Had the gospels not been written, living a Christian life would have been impossible. I can't even imagine attempting to live a life pleasing God without having the gospels and see how Jesus lived. If there is one role model for us to live on this earth, it can only be Jesus Christ. Gospels give us that exclusive privilege to see His life and model our life after Him.
