Growing up in the military, my closest friends were children from families who had moved to the U.S. from other countries. We shared the "third culture kid" experience of moving a lot and a desire for friendship and belonging. As an adult, I still feel drawn and connected to immigrants.
In this book, I share a few stories that give a glimpse into the lives of some of the people I've met and grown to love. The rest of the book shares Biblical principles for the way to treat immigrants.
The Bible has plenty to say about how to love "the strangers" among us. It is my prayer that the Word of God would empower you to build friendships with the international people in your world.
