    Author: Ryan Lister (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is professor of theology at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He is the author of The Presence of God and serves as director of doctrine and discipleship for Humble Beast, where he also helped start the Canvas Conference. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife, Chase, and their four children.

    Illustrator: Anthony Benedetto is an award-winning illustrator, a designer, and the cofounder of Nova Nimbus, a creative studio in Portland, Oregon, which has worked with clients such as Adidas, Red Bull, and Humble Beast Records. He lives in northeast Portland with his wife and their 4 children.
