What do you think of when you hear the word storm? For me, my first thought is, "OH NO! Tornadoes?" (Especially in the spring.) All my life, I have been fearful of nature's storms. I worry and stress when I know there could be a tornado. Luckily, we have meteorologists to try and keep people "weather aware." In this book, I may reference nature's storms here and there, but there are other types of real storms that you need to be prepared to face, and these are the storms of life. These come unexpectedly, and so many times, without warning. There is no meteorologist to tell you when to prepare for the storms of life. These can either make you or break you. I have faced many storms in my life, but there was one very significant storm that I feel like I need to share. This storm had the potential to break me mentally, physically, and spiritually had I not been in the presence of my God. He is the answer to making it through our storms. In this book, I hope to help guide you into becoming a Storm Walker so that when life's storms approach, you are ready to face them, stand tall, and walk confidently to the end where God's light will shine through and revitalize your soul.
