Teton Curtis lived in the shadow of the Grand Teton Mountains on family farm. Before electricity but had light from lanterns and the fireplace. They read scriptures and prayed everyday and had faith. Curtis chore was to bring in the cows each evening for the evening milking. The cows pastured a mile away from the milk barn. Curtis was late getting the cows one evening. A cow was caught in a tree. But it was a bear instead. The cows ran for safety of the barn. Curtis was going to be left behind as bear dinner. Curtis prayed as ran Heavenly Father save me from the bear in Jesus name Amen. He caught the cow Bessie's tail and she jerked him into the air. A vision of his sisters dancing long leaps came into his head. He leaped like them as Bessie tugged him all the way to the barn. God is always there to answer our prayers.
