Following a family tragedy, unhappy seven-year-old Danny Charlton believes the magic of Christmas and life has gone forever.

On the night before Christmas Eve, Danny is visited by one of Santa’s elves. He learns Christmas is in danger of coming to an end, and that he is the only child in the entire world who can stop this from happening.
