Samson's story begins with a miracle. His long hair was the outward sign of a divine "vow" that granted him supernatural, physical strength.

From slaying a lion with his bare hands to defeating an entire army with only the jawbone of a donkey, his feats were legendary-but his character was often tested by his own impulses.

The Betrayal and Redemption

The turning point comes when Samson falls in love with Delilah. The Philistines bribe her to find the secret of his strength. After several failed attempts, Samson finally reveals his secret. While he sleeps, his hair is cut, his vow is broken, and his strength leaves him. Captured and blinded, Samson is mocked by his enemies. In his final moments, he prays for strength one last time, pulling down the pillars of a great temple to defeat his oppressors-ending his life as a hero who found redemption through his ultimate sacrifice.
