The King is coming, and he is going to reward all those who are rich in the land,' declared the King's messenger one winter's day. Greedy Squirrel was determined to get the reward and started stashing nuts and acorns all over the wood. In the process he made fun of the creatures who shared what they had instead of selling it, and he ignored those who needed shelter or food, including a poor beggar man. Finally spring arrived and the King commanded all his subjects to appear before him to get their reward...
