This is the life story of Allan Kerr, a retired Salvation Army Major who details many of his experiences from teenager to adult, where God has worked miracles through his ministry - including the miracle of his own conversion to Christ. In Allan's own words, he was a drunkard, dope addict, cigarette addict, uneducated, no-hoper total dropout - yet God saved him and gave him a new life to live.

In Miracles Do Happen, Allan takes us on a journey filled with adventure with God. It seems as though God is confounding the wise of this world (yet again) with God answering the prayers of a "nobody" and bringing His presence into the lives of other people, who like Allen, were in such desperate need for a miracle in their lives - including being raised from the grip of Death itself.

As a bonus to this story of Allan's life, his wife and stepdaughter add their testimony to declare the transformation that they have had since Allan came into their life. This is a story - warts and all - of the good times and the difficult times of being a servant of his Lord, Jesus Christ.

Reading this story of a life served in the Salvation Army can only inspire the reader to have faith, for our God is still the God of miracles.
