I Am Joseph Lamb is a raw, unfiltered memoir that confronts a truth many believers struggle to admit: loving God does not erase humanity.

In this deeply honest account, Dr. Joseph D. Lamb, Sr. shares a life shaped by childhood trauma, sexual abuse, poverty, repeated incarceration, addiction, violence, serious illness, and profound grief-while still maintaining faith. Diagnosed twice with Stage 3 cancer and now cancer-free, Lamb writes openly about grace that didn't rush, faith that didn't pretend, and responsibility that grew out of survival.

This is not a polished testimony or a performance-driven faith story. It is a human account of believing God while wrestling with temptation, anger, loss, and unanswered questions-including the devastating loss of his son to suicide.

Written for readers who love God but live real lives, who worship loudly and struggle privately, I Am Joseph Lamb creates space for honesty without shame and faith without illusion.
