A Missionary's Journey Through Smooth and Rough Terrain

The path ahead looks impassible. I can see steep cliffs, thick brush hiding the path, and a storm on the horizon. But I also see the One who beckons me to start this journey. He promises to be with me and give me strength along the way.

Small steps forward! That is my testimony. Thousands of small steps toward my Savior and King. These steps toward God have lead me to the mission field for the past thirteen years. However, the other half of the story is not so nice. You see, the cliffs, underbrush, and storms were often self- imposed. All too often my human nature got in the way and my progress halted. When I went overseas, my prayer was to bring the light of God to places and people who did not have it. But in the midst of my prayers and efforts, God was busy bringing His light to me.
