Having been a priest for sixteen years, Who is a Priest? is the author's attempt at giving a concise description of the Catholic Priesthood from a simple but systematic theological view. While he tried to avoid verbose jargons in order to make it comprehensible to the simplest minds, he tries to capture as much as possible, the essence of the priesthood. The book describes the priest as a prophet, apostle, witness, sacrifice, intercessor, healer and servant, and relates these offices to the sacraments, those sacred vessels of grace which the priest is ordained to administer. I recommend this book to priests and all who seek to understand the Catholic Priesthood.
