Over the last 10-15 years of working in women's ministries, I've noticed a trend: women aren't happy. I don't see joy in them. Not all, of course, but many. Some of the most common things I hear are:

"My life isn't what I thought it would be."

"This isn't what I signed up for."

"Life wasn't supposed to be this hard."
