What is the biblical definition of a disciple of Christ? Is it to receive forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life, but to go about living as a Christian according to one\'s natural intuition and lived experiences apart from God? Or, is it to experience a total transformation of one\'s thought process so that we come to perceive persons, events, circumstances, and things in this present life in accordance with the love, power, and promises of God - that is, in accordance with the heart and mind of Jesus Christ. The thesis put forward in this study guide is that our learning to view persons, events, circumstances, and things in our material time-space world through the lens of Scripture is absolutely critical to our success in living the Christian life in a manner that brings a smile to God\'s face.
