We live in uncertain times. In a rapidly changing world filled with hastily formed opinions on everything under the sun, and with serious questions about the very nature of 'truth', Christians can be left feeling unsure about their faith. Can we have any confidence about where we stand with God, and how can we know that Jesus really is "the way, the truth and the life"?

Few parts of the Bible provide such clear and compelling answers to those questions as the short letter of 1 John. Sometimes known as one of the most challenging books in the New Testament, it's a letter that reveals its treasures gradually yet powerfully, as John teaches us what he discovered as he walked, talked and lived with Jesus.
