Those words of St Paul ask us to consider the freedom we have to choose what spiritual garments we wear and how well we wear them. As we are to 'put on garments that suit God's chosen and beloved people', we might also have to divest ourselves of garments that do not suit us.

This course of six sessions explores how life experiences can leave us wearing inappropriate and burdensome garments - how sin, hurt, sorrow, grief and withholding forgiveness can disfigure us, but also how Christ's redeeming love can transfigure us. The sessions describe landmarks in the Christian journey from innocence, through sin and redemption to being clothed in spiritual gifts for living the Christian way of life before we finally come before our Father in heaven, clothed in Christ.

Each session includes an in-depth exploration of the theme, questions for discussion, a group activity, keywords and key texts, and suggestions for prayer.
