The Epistle of 1 Peter is an amazing book of hope and inspiration in time of trouble. Apparently, the time of the writing of this Epistle is a time of great persecution against the Jews. He reminds them in chapter one of 1st Peter, in their inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, kept by the power of God through faith in salvation that will be revealed in the last time, in though they are in heaviness because of great trials and temptation, that this trial of faith, which is more precious than gold tried in fire, will be found unto praise, honor and glory when Jesus appears. He encourages them to treat one another as they should; dads, moms, other Christians etc. This book is divided into two parts: commentary of 1st Peter and commentary of 2nd Peter.
