Jesus instructed his apostles, "You shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8) Their witness in Jerusalem is reported in Acts 1 - 7; their witness in Judea and Samaria is recorded in Acts 8 - 12; and their witness to the uttermost part of the earth is seen in Acts 13 - 28. They took the gospel of Christ from the city of Jerusalem to Rome, the ruling city of the world.
