Let us look through the book of Revelation and highlight some of the key events that will take place in these end times as we draw closer each day to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation is the only full-length end-time book in the Bible from chapters 1 through 22.

The Apostle John is recording an open vision that Jesus Christ gives to him to share with the church and all mankind. If you want to know more about the book of Revelation, this book will provide the sound doctrine needed to help you better understand this great book.

We will discuss the seven churches, the rapture of the saints of God, the 7-year covenant, the Great Tribulation, the return of the Jews to their promised land Israel, the two witnesses Elijah and Moses or Enoch who will return for forty-two months, the Antichrist, and the false prophet, the mark of the beast, the twenty-one judgments, the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven vials. We will discuss Mystery Babylon, the Battle of Armageddon, the second coming of Jesus Christ, the thousand-year reign of Christ on earth, Judgment Day (Great White Throne), the new heaven, the new earth, and the new Jerusalem.

The book of Revelation opens by informing us that this is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which was shown to John to share with mankind. This book is not a fable; it is not given by John, but it is given by the Lord Jesus Christ, and it was shown to John, and John recorded what Jesus showed him.

Revelation chapter 1, verses 1 to the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John who bare record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all things that he saw. Some scoffers want to discount the book of Revelation as the ravings of a madman, a fable, or a book for ancient times, but nothing could be further from the truth. The book of Revelation is the Word of God, and it is for past, present, and future generations.
