The Lion Day-By-Day Bible

From January to December the daily stories go steadily through first the Old then the New Testament, so the reader gets an overview of the whole Bible. With a page a day each with its own prayer in the margin, and the Bible reference if you want to compliment the story by reading it in your own Bible, this is a beautifully presented book as you would expect from Lion. The illustrations are secondary to the text, but are sufficient to arouse the imagination of the reader. If it isn’t possible to read the designated piece on the correct day, never fear: and at the end of the book is a ‘Story Finder’ where you can easily pick out special themes to fit your needs.
