Born in Brazil, Sergio Cariello’s accomplished art career began at age 11 by drawing a regular comic strip for his city’s newspaper. He spent many childhood hours poring over The Picture Bible (Portuguese edition), never dreaming that decades later he would illustrate the updated edition of The Action Bible. Sergio has worked for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and has illustrated Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, Iron-Man, Wonder Woman, Fantastic-Four, The Lone Ranger, and dozens more comic book characters. He loves to fly drones and attend comic book conventions to stay connected with his peers and fans, but he especially enjoys telling people about Jesus through his illustrations and teaching God's Word when he travels. At his local church, he leads worship (singer, composer, and acoustic guitar player). He lives in Florida with his wife, Luzia, and their two dogs, Grace and Lilly.

    I am dyslexic and have always struggled to read in fact I really dislike reading. I bought the Action Bible after seeing it advertised on line. It is targeted at 12 year olds but I am 60 years old and been a Christian for nearly 40 years and I'm really enjoying this bible. I would loved to have had it years ago. For for anyone in the same position as me being being dyslexic get this Bible I'm sure it will really bless you.

    Just ordered this for my seven year old son. We visited a tiny 800 year old church in Cheshire and at the back they had Christian kids book section and my son loved the book so I have ordered him one. Great way to engage lads

    I have purchased this Bible twice, once for a young person and an adult with learning disabilities, much easier to read than a standard bible with very good pictures, but allows this adult access to read and enjoy the Bible where they were unable to with an adult Bible but without having children in the title.

    In the 90s I shared action Bible comics with a young man. Long after he shared how the pictures had helped him understand Gods Word. now an evangelist, Pastor and Teacher he will be receiving a copy for Christmas in Thailand and will be excited to share this amazing Bible with the children and young people he and his family work with. The hard bit was wanting to keep it myself……..

    I am interested in material suitable for less able adults. This book is too wordy and the cover is not maturationally sensitive. Disappointing therefore.

    Really pleased with the action bible for my 6 year old (advanced reader) he really enjoys comic style literature, has brilliant illustrations as well. The content of the bible is great covering a vast number of stories and with a great index for Old and New Testament stories.
