Many who profess to be Christians lead lives that call their professions into question. What are we to say about these individuals? Are they Christians or not? What does it mean to be a Christian?

We know that the Bible teaches us that Christians are those who believe in Christ (e.g., Acts 16:30-31). But the Bible also teaches that the demons believe in Christ (see James 2:19). If believing in Christ is what it means to be a Christian, then what does that faith look like? How do we differentiate Christian faith from all other varieties? And, how much faith is required to be a Christian?

This book examines the concept of Christian faith from biblical, historical, and theological perspectives and, in doing so, seeks to answer questions just like these.
