This 5-session group study course, specially designed to be used during Lent, encourages Christians to examine their lifestyle in the light of Jesus' radical teaching and to live out these kingdom values - now. The aim of the course is nothing less than to equip Christians to live their faith more fully and so to demonstrate to those outside the Church that a knowledge of God makes sense of the whole of life.Studying the Beatitudes will: deepen our understanding of Jesus and challenge our deepest personal values, help us understand how they impact on our attitude towards major global issues, such as environmental pollution and the ongoing hostilities and injustices in our world.
