John Sentamu's Hope StoriesAllison Carroll, via The Good Book Stall
This is a beautiful book that gives Gods message not in a biblical format—although each story is preceded by a scripture verse—or a lecture, or by preaching, but by sharing the life events of ordinary people. People who through God overcame life’s darkest moments or who having survived those dark moments without Gods word later found him and allowed Him to show them that a life filled with faith always has a light shining through the longest night.
The stories are simply told yet powerful.
This book is for everyone, those with strong faith, those visiting their own dark days or those curious about a life with God's love and what it might mean to an ordinary Joe. You will find your faith renewed not just in God but in the strength and determination of mankind too.
