‘Gospel’ is a revolutionary book that aims to put the gospel back into the heart of the Church.

The gospel was all the early church talked about, the gospel toppled an empire and the gospel was the central message of a revolutionary leader that began our revolutionary movement – so let’s reclaim it.

J.D. Greear, American author and pastor, questions whether the Evangelical Church has misplaced the gospel? Having lost sight of the gospel, the church has concerned itself with cultural, moral, and legal issues in society. Greear’s clears the religious, superficial fog and cuts the legal tape to reintroduce the simplicity and importance of the gospel.

Greear has split his message into three clear sections:

1. How the Gospel Does What Religion Cannot:
Discover why and how religion can never do what the gospel does: change your heart. With this clear and understandable foundation, you’ll be ready to become gospel-focused.

2. The Gospel Prayer:

About the Author

J. D. Greear is lead pastor of The Summit Church, a multi-site congregation in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He holds an M.Div. in International Church Planting and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Greear also lived and worked among Muslims in Southeast Asia for two years and wrote Breaking the Islam Code. He and his wife have four children.
