The Christian life can be described as a journey with God. At times things don’t go so well. We feel down and insecure, but God is there with us, holding our hand even if we cannot feel Him.

He is experiencing the emotions with us. There are also times of excitement and joy when we are able to experience the closeness of God and can taste what it is like to be part of God’s great adventure as we travel with Him at the centre of our lives, enabling us to be effective for Him.

However, there are many people who have experienced very little of this joy and excitement (or none at all) and are wondering where God is in their lives. They are receiving so much of life’s downside and have no real relationship with God; they have really just left Him in the box.

God has a plan for all of us, even when we don’t think so.
