From Water To War CD

'From Water to War' is the third album by Alabama Christian alt-rock act Nine Lashes.

Following their 2009 independent debut, the band signed with Tooth & Nail Records and in 2011 released 'World We View', which was a huge success for the band and rose into the Top 20 of the Billboard Christian charts.

Expanding on their driving, aggressive sound, 'From Water to War' finds Nine Lashes using more electronics, samples, and sequencing in their music. It's a stylistic development the band members felt they were already moving toward on their prior releases and they've embraced it fully, creating an intense, edgy sound.
