While not ignoring practical lessons that can be drawn from the life of Joseph, Roger Ellsworth fastens our attention on his place in the drama of God's redemptive plan. The sometimes chaotic nature of Joseph's circumstances did not mean that God's plan was thrown off track. Those circumstances were part of the plan.
