Leslie J Francis is Director of the Welsh National Centre for Religious Education and Professor of Practical Theology, University of Wales, Bangor. He writes widely on the psychology of religion and on empirical theology.

Peter Atkins is an Anglican bishop and scholar. He lives in New Zealand, and has written a series of books in the area of practical theology.
