Becky Galloway has an important message for this generation of Christian women – you are ‘Called’ by God as mothers to lead in the local church.

Can you be in leadership and be a mother?
Can you only be one or the other?
Does one have to suffer, or can these two responsibilities be balanced?

Becky began to teach a group of women in her local church and soon realised the need was great. Becky found that many women thought – or have been told by others – that leadership and motherhood don’t mix. In others word, choose one or the other. The result is many women are frustrated and many others lack personal fulfilment and, as a result, the Church is falling apart.

When the women God has called don’t step into leadership or ministry, a domino effect begins. The Church lacks the woman’s gifting – the ministry is under-resourced – child lack a female role model to inspire them in serving within the Church – and the cycle repeats in a continuous loops!

‘Called’ contains all the biblical teaching, encouragement and inspiration to strengthen a woman’s heart and empower a woman’s mind. This book is not a Bible study, it’s a quick read to re-align your goals and support you in stepping into your true, God-given calling.

About the Author

Becky Galloway, alongside her husband James, is Lead Pastor at Breathe City Church. She is mother to three wonderful children whom she is passionate about growing up in the House of God. She is committed to people and to the local church being a spectacular statement and central to the world.

Becky has pioneered many of BCC’s ministries and mentoring programmes throughout the life of the church. She is fixed on seeing a generation of “Proverbs 31” women and girls rise up and become all that they are called to be!

As well as this, Becky has seen a ten-year dream come true. Stronger is a residential programme in the city, home to young women and young mums, together with their children, that provides a one-year programme for those who want to become “stronger”.

Becky is a gifted communicator and her attention to detail, enthusiasm and heart for the house and love for people is infectious. She inspires those she leads to be the same.
