An interesting look at the prophet Habakkuk and how his message is still relevant for us today. When our lives don't go according to plan, we are often quick to blame God.

The prophet Habakkuk also blamed God when it seemed like everything had gone wrong in his society, and was amazed by God's answer.

Martin Goldsmith guides us through the book of Habakkuk and allows this Old Testament prophet to speak into our lives, and into the issues of contemporary society.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The title of this book attracted me as in our ‘blame ridden society’ we often look for someone or something to take the rap for the circumstances in which we find ourselves. The Old Testament prophet Habakkuk also struggled with his situation. He enters a dialogue with God and in this book we can see how through Habakkuk we can hear God’s voice speaking into our present culture and in our own particular situation. I would have preferred to have the bible passage at the beginning of each section which would have made it more user friendly. Whilst this is not an easy read it does make the reader look carefully at the message contained in this short Book of the Old Testament.
