Adoniram Judson

Even as a child Adoniram Judson was an astonishing intellect and spirit. He could read at age three, took navigation lessons at ten, studied theology and entered Providence College (now Brown University) at seventeen.

He mastered the Burmese language with the familiarity of a native and the elegance of a scholar, and translated the Bible into Burmese and spent his life on those peoples for Christ's sake.
