As a church, our heart is to respond to Jesus’ words from Matthew 22 and 28 – the Greatest Commandment, ‘to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength and to love your neighbour as yourself’ – and the Great Commission ‘…go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded and surely I am with you to the very end of the age’ When we passionately pursue Jesus, when we love God in everything and with everything, we believe everything in Matthew 28 becomes the natural overflow.
