Oversee programme scope, timelines and budget, escalating risks or delays through appropriate governance structures. Provide clear written and verbal reporting to governance bodies, ensuring transparency and shared understanding. Create, monitor and manage programme budgets, including forecasting, financial reviews and spend analysis. Shape the design of future programmes Support the writing, planning and submission of Diocesan Investment Programme (DIP) applications. Contribute to future funding rounds through insight gained from programme monitoring and learning. Ensure that all programmes contribute meaningfully to Barnabas outcomes and long-term diocesan change. Capture and share learning to drive programme adaptation, innovation and continuous improvement. Support buildings and sustainability work Assist the development of building improvement plans within new and existing programmes, ensuring affordability, feasibility, and alignment with mission goals. Support new initiatives in achieving long-term financial sustainability, including exploring additional revenue sources and grant funding. Contribute to sustainability planning across buildings and wider strategic projects. Communication, Monitoring and Evaluation Analyse programme impact and make clear connections to wider diocesan missional and financial sustainability. Support communications through storytelling, case studies, and sharing good practice across the diocese and with the national church. Facilitate evaluation processes, including end of programme reviews with the national church and other stakeholders. .All Saints church, Little Shelford (www.allsaintslittleshelford.org) is a lively village church 5 miles south of Cambridge. We seek to proclaim Christ, to be a loving church family, and to serve our local community. Our Sunday congregations total around 120 adults and 40 children. Due to planned staff changes, we are looking for a Families, Children and Youth Minister to assist the Rector from September 2026 onwards. Applicants may be lay or ordained, but ideally have extensive experience of ministry to families, children and youth and relevant qualifications. Suitable accommodation is provided with the post. It is a condition of the Minister’s employment/office, to live in the accommodation made available. Who we are: Scripture Union Scotland is a registered charity that aims to see every child and young person in Scotland explore the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus. Our centres regularly host school groups participating in residential experiences, youth groups enjoying weekend breaks and a variety of SU Holidays. We aim to enable our guests to enjoy the outdoors, have fun, develop new skills and work together with a focus on building good relationships. Intern Programme This is a 1 year voluntary programme providing a stepping stone to a career as a Christian outdoor instructor. To qualify for this programme: - You’ll have worked with children and young people in a couple of different settings - You’ve enjoyed taking part in different outdoor activities - You are connected with a local church and regularly read the Bible and meet up with other Christians - You have a desire to help children and young people enjoy the outdoors and explore the Bible for themselves What will the training look like? You will spend a year with us, gaining foundational experience in activity instruction, team Bible studies, and personal faith development. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate IT support requests, ensuring issues are prioritised, tracked, and resolved efficiently - Act as the main liaison with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other IT suppliers - Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software licences, and subscriptions - Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR - Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guidance - Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement - Assist with IT policy development, GDPR compliance, and data security practices - Promote effective and responsible use of IT systems across the organisation Who we are looking for The successful applicant will demonstrate the following: - Strong attention to detail, with the ability to track tasks, follow up consistently, and ensure nothing is overlooked - Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously - Clear and confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with both non-technical staff and external IT providers - Experience in administrative, coordination, or operational support roles For this post, it is important that you are able to demonstrate a commitment to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision.
