My marriage was falling apart. My husband was ‘playing away from home’, and I was miserable. But leaving him and getting divorced was not an option. I was a Christian and Christians didn’t do that sort of thing; they just gritted their teeth and got on with it. Or so I thought.…

It wasn’t just the other women; it was all the other rubbish my husband threw my way: the hurt, the name calling and the coldness towards me, as well as the huge financial debt of which I had been unaware. It was as if everything we had ever shared had been thrown out with the trash, including me. One night I cried out to God for rescue. He heard and answered me. He promised me that one day things would be better.
